Starting summer 2009 all EDA instructors are required to have passed and hold a valid EDA Instructors' Diploma in order to continue teaching under the EDA name.

We have developed a special workshop for our instructors that are already teaching under our name and in our system. At $200 it is a generous offer on a diploma that usually runs at $500. Optionally, instructors may come in for a 4 hour individual evaluation of  at an evaluation fee of $200 if they feel that they fulfill the diploma critereas already.

EDA Instructors will also be required to film their classes and submit them 4 times a year for  feedback as well as attend continuing education seminars at the EDA either by the EDA dean or president or a guest instructor brought in to maintain the high level of educational quality we offer at the EDA.

Any instructors not compliant with these guidelines by summer 2009 will be removed from the EDA website, marketing and EDA system until compliant with the requirement of holding an EDA Instructors' Diploma.

These requirements and guidelines have been implemented due to legal matters and the need to keep a certain quality within the instructor staff associated with the EDA.
